MSLA Resin 3D Printing — FAQs
MSLA (Masked Stereolithography) is our highest-detail process — ideal for intricate models, miniatures, visualisation pieces, and precision parts where fine surface detail and dimensional accuracy matter most.
Standard, Tough/ABS-like, Flexible, and High-temperature resins — the right one depends on whether your part needs to look good, flex, or survive heat and mechanical stress.
Resin printing builds each layer using a UV-cured LCD screen, giving a much finer layer resolution than FDM — the result is a smoother, more presentation-ready surface straight off the printer.
Usually 1–3 days, depending on part size, quantity and any post-processing (washing, curing, painting) required.
For display, presentation and precision-fit applications, yes. For parts that need to take heavy mechanical loads or repeated stress, we'll often recommend FDM or SLS instead — ask us and we'll advise honestly.
